Read the Interview here:

Shubhangi Verma: First of all, Big Congratulations to you on your latest published book, “DEAREST LOVE: A Collection Of Poems” well, you’ve achieved something remarkably huge at a very young age! So, what’re your expectations from this book of yours? Please share your experience about this book.

Prachi Prangya Agasti: While words come from within and you desire that in some way these will inspire and instil hope, love and beautiful feelings, I also expect that this collection of poems which I have nurtured with so much love would find its way in this world. This book is close to my heart. And I started penning down these words at a beautiful place called Lanjigarh.

Shubhangi Verma: I’ve read your book and I genuinely feel that it’s a wonderful collection of “Romantic & Emotional Poems” so my next question to you is that what inspired you to write these poems? What was the impetus behind this work of yours?

Prachi Prangya Agasti: The impetus behind the work is my inclination towards the hearts that experience half-finished love. The stories that are beautiful but never really complete. Lanjigarh is a place where you have peace and love. I started to devote myself to write a story through these poems, a story of an enchanting-tragic love. Souvenirs of time has been captured in this book. How a love that faces the wrath of worldly norms, loses hope, destroys, revives and sacrifices. I wanted to bring out a picture that creates a sensitive impact on the readers.

Shubhangi Verma: You have given an interesting title to your Poetry-Collection Book, which is undoubtedly very catchy too; So, what made you go for this particular title for your book?

Prachi Prangya Agasti: Dearest Love. It’s not just a title. It’s a compilation of feelings that the protagonist wants to express to her love. It’s like she is writing a letter to him, the emotions maybe she cannot convey directly. She has gathered the courage to write a series of poems to him instead for a great love she wants to express to this world, that how beautifully messed up they are among the differences this world created.

Shubhangi Verma: While reading your book, I sensed that your poems are conveying some messages and if so, then could you please discuss that with your readers.

Prachi Prangya Agasti: These poems are the representation of emotions that the protagonist goes through the journey of her love. The longings, the desperation, the winning, the losing, the storms, the rain, the thunder, the pain and the hope. Every moment has been engraved in these pages. She wanted him to remember how their heartbeats felt like. As much sad a love can be, never forget the moments that made your hearts rush and surrender to a longing. Because a love where you find your home inside is a love that you hold onto. You stay and you fight.

Shubhangi Verma: These days a lot of young writers are coming out with their books but only a few of them come out with ‘Poetry’ which I believe is a bold step so, my next question to you is that why did you choose Poetry to express yourself? And why not Short-Stories when that too could have served the purpose?

Prachi Prangya Agasti: These poems had freedom in themselves they weren’t restricted to endings. Feelings that exist without any bounds come out in some way the other, I chose poetry because they paint words stuck between sanity and insanity. You exhale and they become your unfinished masterpiece. Poetry makes it intense, a free verse that reaches depth and then comes out to breathe again. Poetry has been my escape at times when it gets too much. It captures words in between and become codes for heartbeats.

Shubhangi Verma: Your poems had some really strong emotions and stories inside them, which had greatly impressed me and thus I would like you to explain the overall theme of your book!

Prachi Prangya Agasti: Love that has no bounds finds a way to survive even though they remain unfinished by the orders of fate. They never meet yet they can never be apart.

Shubhangi Verma: Miss Prachi your writing seemed to be really impeccable and you were bold with your poems in your book, which I really appreciate. Therefore, I want you to tell us about some of those writers, who had inspired you and whom you follow!

Prachi Prangya Agasti: I have always loved the poems of William Wordsworth and John Keats. I have been brought up admiring the words of poets in my family, my grandfather and my aunt. They used to recite me their poems and all I could think about how delicately they have built this and with such fine details. My English Teacher who made me fall in love with Wordsworth and Keats. Poetry isn’t something that I started recently they have been part of me since childhood.

Shubhangi Verma: Is there any message which you would like to convey to your readers? Or any piece of advice, which you would like to give to the readers out there!

Prachi Prangya Agasti: You can never have enough of words. Someway or the other there is a dearth when it comes to expressing them. And when you do, never hide them in the pages of your diary. Let the world know, maybe some a seeker like me would inspire and fall in love with your words.

Shubhangi Verma: Are there any other books being worked by you? Please let us know about your future projects.

Prachi Prangya Agasti: I am currently working on a novel of a mystery and thriller genre. I hope it turns out to be intriguing enough to please my readers.

Shubhangi Verma: Thank you so much for answering all my questions. All the very best to you for future and your book too!

Prachi Prangya Agasti: Thank you so much. I always want people to inspire to write and read more. Hope I would in some ways.
